Our cosy, very quiet, bright flat is located in the best part of Charlottenburg on Mommsenstrasse - 4 minutes walk to Kurfürstendamm and the underground! Our domicile can also be reached very conveniently by bus - 3 minutes walk - which goes all the way down Kurfürstendamm to Zoologischer Garten or in the other direction 3 stops to the magnificent Charlottenburg Palace with its large romantic park. Approx. 4 minutes walk to the S-Bahn - Charlottenburg and to Stuttgarter-Platz with its many restaurants. Our flat offers absolute tranquillity and every comfort with a view of the trees and the rose garden in the courtyard, where you can also sit down, otherwise our balcony is available for sunbathing. The tasteful furnishings with beautiful original paintings from our collection and some antiques will delight your eyes. Our "Flat is located in the absolutely quiet and sunny garden house on the 2nd floor facing south, the new photos show the lower sun in October from morning to afternoon, which illuminate our rooms wonderfully. Our flat is an oasis of peace at any time of the day or night - you will be delighted. Sleeping with the windows open is a rest and the peace and quiet is fantastic. It has been completely refurbished, attentively renovated , furnished with comfortable furniture and complemented and decorated with beautiful antique details. In the living room the couch can easily be extended into a comfortable bed of 155 cm x 220 cm. At the dining table near the window you can work very well and it can be extended from 1.50m to 2.50m ! The bedroom offers a large, very comfortable double bed (cm), spacious wardrobe and a large linen chest, radio-CD player with alarm function and beautiful bedside lamps! An antique desk that can be pulled out on both sides is very practical and useful. The bright kitchen is a third bright extra room, is fully equipped - with dishwasher etc. and a small sitting area by the window is perfect for the first coffee or small breakfast! Next to it in the closed chamber with door and window is a linen cupboard, ladder, storage space etc. and the washing machine. The bathroom is also bright and new - and offers a window for ventilation. The historic, magnificent and well-maintained Art Nouveau building and, like the flat, offers all the classic old building elements worthy of preservation. In our flat you will find, for example, high ceilings, stucco, original double box windows and casement doors and original fittings from the period everywhere! Ideal for working as a couple in a home office - two bright separate rooms with work surfaces and an additional separate kitchen/living room, so everyone can have their peace and quiet..... At lunchtime and in the evening you can go to the best restaurants of the city with international offers, so you can end the day in the best way and relax perfectly... .. Well-known jazz clubs can be found nearby as well. I will give you all the details and a list of the best restaurants in the area, of which there are indeed many, as well as tips and excursions. Here around you live safely and noticeably on an upscale level! The wonderful Lietzensee with its large park is also within easy walking distance! Through Mommsen-Strasse, lined with many magnificent old buildings, you are immediately on Schlüterstrasse, which boasts prominent restaurants and elegant boutiques. A few minutes further and you are already at the famous Savignyplatz with its many different restaurants, shops and cafés... For a variety of mundane shopping, Wilmersdorferstrasse is just around the corner, with supermarkets, department stores, etc.. Several theatres, galleries, speciality and antique shops can be found around the corner als well! Here, Kurfürstendamm is very close to your feet! Tall plane trees line the magnificent street and lovingly renovated old buildings provide pleasant shade for strollers in the summer months. Millions of lights illuminate the street and wide pavements in the winter months. Here, Berlin is a cosmopolitan city and very sophisticated. In the summer months, cafés and restaurants move onto the pavement with chairs and tables - then the motto is: see and be seen! Along Berlin's most splendid shopping street and in the immediate vicinity there are green spaces and secluded squares, such as "Olivaer Platz" or "Ludwig- Kirchplatz" surrounded by Restaurants with big Terrasses a little further on. The Lietzensee with its sunbathing lawn is a popular meeting place in summer. Around the lake there are benches and a boathouse with a restaurant. A little further on you can enjoy culture, as the famous "Schaubühne" am Lehniner Platz has been staging internationally acclaimed productions since 1962. Today you can find your favourite Italian restaurant around the "Schaubühne", a very good French restaurant is the "Garage" diagonally opposite ...... Bus lines and the underground are also within walking distance. And at any time of the year, the Grunewald - and very close by the "Halensee" and "Wannsee" offer swimming (see my photos) and a relaxing change from urban city life.
