Our Mediterranean apartment house is located in the southern outskirts of Gernsbach. The “Pearl of the Murg Valley”, as Gernsbach is also called, is located in the middle of the mountain-lined Black Forest Valley Road, protected in one of the most beautiful and largest forest areas in the Black Forest with around 14,000 inhabitants. The landscape protection area with numerous hiking and walking trails begins right next to our house. It is only 700 m to the historic old town, which is well worth seeing and has a variety of shops and restaurants inviting you to stroll and linger. It is only 700 m to the tram stop, 5 km to Gaggenau, 15 km to Rastatt (A5) and 35 km to Karlsruhe.
