I am renting out my cozy yet modern 2-room apartment in the heart of Berlin's historic Hansaviertel – one of the city's most unique districts, designed in the 1950s by architects such as Aalto, Le Corbusier, and Mies van der Rohe. The apartment features a comfortable bedroom with a queen-size bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large, bright living room with big windows and access to the balcony. Start your morning on the balcony with a coffee, or invite guests and relax on the comfortable modular sofa, stream with high-speed internet, or enjoy a bath in the bathtub. Just a few steps from the Spree river and Tiergarten – one of Europe's largest urban parks. Two minutes to the S-Bahn, U-Bahn, and bus, one stop from Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) and Zoologischer Garten. Stroll to the Spree to watch the sunset, explore Tiergarten by bike, play table tennis in the park, or browse one of the nearby flea markets. Many restaurants with diverse cuisines, bars, cafés, and ice cream parlors are within walking distance, as is the historic Hansabücherei, one of Berlin's most beautiful modernist libraries. Plötzensee is also reachable by bike in 15 minutes. The Hansaviertel is perfectly centrally located: one stop from Hauptbahnhof and Zoo, and near the TU-Berlin campus or BHT. Ideal if you study or work in the area. Centrally located between Mitte, Schöneberg, Kreuzberg, and Moabit, Berlin's liveliest districts are easily accessible by public transport. What makes the Hansaviertel particularly pleasant is its quiet, green character in the middle of the city. Despite its central location, there is plenty of green space between the buildings, little traffic, and a neighborhood that is more relaxed than hectic. At the same time, the area is culturally exceptionally rich: the Neue Nationalgalerie, the Berliner Philharmonie, and the Akademie der Künste are all within short distance, making this place one of the city's most remarkable concentrations of art, architecture, and music. Since the apartment is fully furnished, I request a security deposit equal to one month's rent. This serves solely to secure the condition of the apartment and the furniture and will be fully refunded after moving out and joint apartment handover. Upon moving in and out, we will jointly create a brief handover protocol with photos, ensuring clarity and security for both parties.
