The peninsula of Stralau is the perfect location for living: on the one hand, it is situated centrally in the highly trendy district of Friedrichshain, yet Stralau itself remains calm and quiet. It is also situated not far from the Treptower Park and Ostkreuz S-Bahn stations (ca. 10mins of walking), where you can access the Ringbahn, additionally, two bus lines have a stop right at the doorstep. The closest super market “LIDL” is also ca. 10mins of walking away, and the shopping centre “Park Center” close to the Treptower Park S-Bahn station is ca. 15mins away. Also right before the doorstep is a small bakery that besides baked goods also sells basic groceries and also offers a warm lunch. A ca. 3km long walkway leads around the peninsula´s shore which connects to the Rummelsburger Bucht and Treptower Park and is perfect for a walk or jogging. The Treptower Park holds many attractions as for instance the “Insel Der Jugend”, an amusement park with Ferris wheel, a planetarium and many more. Whoever is more interested in the loud and chaotic side of Berlin can enjoy themselves in the neighbourhood around the Sonntagstraße and Boxhagener Platz, which are 20mins of walking away, or can go to the famous club “Wilde Renate”, which is right around the corner with just 5mins of walking.
