Bright and spacious loft in a quiet rear building overlooking a park, offering a unique layout with two large bedrooms, a TV room/library, and an expansive open-plan living and dining area with a Yamaha piano and a dedicated desk for a home office setup. The elevator opens directly into the loft, revealing a space filled with natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows with custom-made French linen curtains. The Italian kitchen features a sleek stainless steel design and includes a high-end Bora induction stove, perfectly complementing the open living area. The master bedroom includes a walk-in closet, and the bright bathroom boasts a cast iron English bathtub and rain shower. Additional amenities include a large laundry room with Miele appliances and ample storage capacity. The loft is tastefully decorated with a blend of antique and modern furniture, complemented by large-format photographs on the walls, creating a serene and sophisticated atmosphere. This unique property is located in a former factory, a true piece of Berlin’s industrial history. Over more than 100 years, the building housed various trades, from wagon making and ladies’ coat and cigar manufacturing to book printing and spiral spring production. The original vaulted ceilings and exposed brick walls, meticulously restored by hand, add a rich historical layer to the modern comforts of the loft. Nestled away from street noise, the loft offers a peaceful living environment while still being centrally located with excellent transit access. On weekdays, the only sounds are the distant voices of children from a nearby kindergarten. The neighborhood is vibrant and full of hidden gems, just a 5-minute walk to Lindower Str., where you can enjoy great coffee at Coffee Circle, music at Migas listening bar, and dine at my favorite Berlin restaurant, “Julius.” While there are no grocery stores directly on the street, a short walk will bring you to both traditional grocery chains and excellent Asian and ethnic markets. The U6 subway line is just 150 meters from the front gate, providing quick access—only 10 minutes to Friedrichstrasse, and about 15 minutes door-to-door to Humboldt University. I’d be happy to share more about the neighborhood and its many charms.
