Welcome Home at the Cornelius Hof! Opened in the beginning of 2023, this quiet backyard complex features 16 micro apartments right in the city centre of Düsseldorf. No matter how short or long you are staying with us, you’ll find everything you could possibly want from a boutique-style micro apartment right here: A place to arrive, relax and recharge – a place to feel home away from home that enables you to make the most of the city. Apartment #11 features 23m2 and is one of our six Art Apartments on the first floor, where we maximise the feeling of home in a small space. You will sleep in a comfortable queensized bed, so you are rested and refreshed for the adventures of the next day – whether you are in Düsseldorf for “business or pleasure”. What we especially love about this room is the ceiling-high window wall. You are almost guaranteed to get lost in your daydreams looking out into the backyard. You can enjoy this view from the cozy one-seater sofa or your bed. Alternatively, these are the perfect spots to relax in front of the television. To ensure your privacy is kept, we installed extendable blinds and automatic shutters. The kitchen is generous in size and fully equipped: fridge, stove and oven as well as all the utensils will make preparing food a joy. However, if that's not your thing you can easily order groceries (., with Gorillas or Flink) or meals from one of the many delivery services (., with Lieferando or Wolt) within minutes. "Individuality" is the key word in the design process for this apartment. A local artist, Shev Lunatic, sprayed a different hero of the Düsseldorfer art scene in each of our Art Apartments. Apartment #11 features a portray of Gabriele Henkel sprayed directly on the wall– a beloved Art collector, art patron, author and artist, but mostly well know for her zest for life. We tried to express exactly this characteristic of the Düsseldorfer legend with a joyful colour scheme that is also reflected in the artwork itself. We hope this joy is infectious while you stay with us!
