Bustling Mitte is one of the city's key business districts, and there is a diverse restaurant scene with options at all price points. You can splash out at a high end restaurant like Schnitzelei Mitte, or head to trendy Hackescher Markt, where cafes and shops are located within a series of labyrinthine courtyards. Mitte is also wonderful for sightseeing: the Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island are both located within the neighborhood.
