In the surrounding area, there is almost everything for daily needs. Every Saturday there is the wonderful weekly market with products from local farmers, just around the corner, at Arnswalder Platz. And just a minute away there is a supermarket where you can buy everything you need.
Several individual shops, lovely Cafés and great restaurants, as well as a pleasant living environment make this neighborhood so popular.
Within walking distance there is the beautiful Volkspark Friedrichshain (one of the biggest parks in Berlin) with an open air cinema and the lovely restaurant/ cafe "Schönbrunn".
