The apartment is located in a listed property from 1911, the flat is 110 square metres in size and features high ceilings as well as original period doors and fittings. There are two large living/dining spaces and one bedroom. A second room has been recently fitted and can be used as an office or guest room, we used this space as a child’s bedroom. The bedroom faces the courtyard and is away from any possible street noise. The kitchen is large and fully equipped with all appliances (dish washer, washing machine, and clothes dryer). The house has central heating. There is a working internet/phone connection available that can be included in the lease. The house community is very friendly and helpful and consists of a mix of living and working spaces in the back areas of the property. There is also a communal river terrace that can be used for hanging out and/or barbecues. The apartment is not suitable as a shared apartment. The apartment is in Kreuzberg, less than 5 minutes walk from Schlesisches Tor in the Wrangelkiez area. The neighborhood is a vibrant multicultural area with lots of restaurants and bars and features the well known Markthalle 9 just 5 minutes walk from the flat.
