English: Mitte tends to be noisy (full of tourists) or dead at night (full of offices), but this pocket of neighborhood is different. It has virtually no tourists, yet convenient and full of residential charms. (PS. June 15~August 31 is blocked but available for renewal if you book prior period.) In terms of public transportations, 4-min walk from Markisches Museum. 5 from Spittelmarkt. 8 from Henrich-Heinestrasse/Jannowitzbrucke. The 3-room 2bd flat is located in the rare residential, non-touristic, and historical part of Mitte, right by the canal, conveniently located near amenities Al Natura (2 min), Netto (3 min), and Edeka (6 mins), and nice cafes/restaurants. This block is one of the loveliest in Mitte. This quiet Hinterhaus (not facing main street) apartment is renovated in 2025. My partner is an interior designer and has put all energy into renovating this unit into a stylish yet warm and comfortable place. Perfect for a small family or a couple (King size bed in the bedroom!). Compare it to other cookier-cutter Airbnb-like apartments. We also thoughtfully included maximum amount of storage (lacking in most apartments) - full-wall closet (with lights), under-bed drawers, and shoe cabinets that can store 40 pairs. The apartment is also equipped with smart lights, so you can create hotel-like ambience with a click of a button. But the best part of it is that it is in HInterhaus surrounded by trees, including a lovely Japanese maple tree that's right outside of the bedroom (unfortunately the photos are taken in winter, so the leaves have fallen). The second bedroom is currently empty, because some people want it to be an office. We can discuss your needs, and furnish. We are responsive, respectful, and fair people (small landlord, hoping to move into the place eventually), so don't worry about getting the deposit back, or something not working.
