Das Deutsche Museum ist zu Fuß in ca. 6 Minuten erreichbar. Das Glockenbachviertel (Szeneviertel) befindet sich direkt auf der anderen Seite der Isar. Die Entfernung zum Kiesstrand der Isar beträgt ca. 300 m. Im Sommer kann man dort baden oder zur in der Mitte der Isar sich befindenden Weideninsel schwimmen.
