In der unmittelbaren Umgebung finden Sie internationale Restaurants, Cafés und Supermärkte für Ihre Einkäufe. Der Hauptbahnhof ist zu Fuß nur 10 Minuten entfernt, auch die Königsallee ist nicht viel weiter, und dann sind Sie auch schon gleich in der Altstadt. An den Haltestellen Kruppstrasse und Sonnenstrasse um die Ecke können Sie in die Straßenbahnen 705 und 706 einsteigen. Die S-Bahnhöfe S-Volksgarten, S-Oberbilk und S-Friedrichstadt sind auch ganz nah. In wenigen Minuten sind Sie zu Fuß im größten Park Düsseldorfs, dem Volksgarten. Das Apartment haben wir grundsaniert und luftig und veränderbar gestaltet, dabei möglichst viele natürliche Materialien verwendet, auch Holzparkett bis ins Bad. Sie können Tisch, Liegestuhl und Licht ganz nach Ihren Bedürfnissen anpassen. Vielleicht lassen Sie sich von der italienischen Tapete mit den Flugobjekten ('macchine volanti') in den nächsten Traum verführen. Der Blick in die Baumkronen, das bei offenem Fenster von ferne hörbare Geplapper vom hübschen Lessingplatz und das melodische Geräusch der Kirchenglocken hören sich fast an wie im Dorf. Bei Wind hören Sie das Rauschen der Blätter. Und doch sind Sie mitten in der Stadt! ** English ** Welcome to our Explorer Apartment! We've thought quite a long time about how to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Our aim was to create a little oasis within a central position in the city. The studio has been completely renovated into a comfy space with an overlooking view. We've used lots of natural materials to make you feel well. You can reorder the table, the relax chair and the lights according to your wishes. You might also get inspired by Cole and Sons' lovely Italian wallpaper "macchine volanti". The view into the trees, the unprecise voices from people on the calm street and the melodic sound of the church's bells remind a village's sounds. You will hear rushing leaves from spring to summer while being in the city centre! In the bathroom, we left the charming tiles in their retro 70s look but renovated lots of other stuff to give it some freshness. The cooking area is small but has all amenities. There is a machine which is half an oven, half a dishwasher, so that you can create whatever you want. You will have your own washing machine downstairs. You can take your laundry downstairs by the lift and use the few last steps. Our Explorer Apartment is located on the fourth floor (with elevator) and has a view over a lovely square full of trees. The romantic gas lanterns have been preserved after a fight fromt he locals with the city. You'll find restaurants, cafés and supermarkets nearby. Even a local market from regional producers every Thursday morning. The central station is just 10 minutes away on foot. The tram stops "Kruppstrasse" and "Sonnenstrasse" are just round the corner. The S-Bahn "S-Volksgarten", "S-Oberbilk" and "S-Friedrichstadt" leads you to other places in town but also to other cities. But you can also explore the city on foot as the location is in the centre. Düsseldorf's biggest park is only minutes away on foot. Enjoy a walk, your morning sports, beergardens and lots of nice and quiet places to sit down and relax or look at the ducks and geese. You'll find an awesome café/restaurant at the end of the park that offers organic produce.
