The Midtown Boardinghouse at Martin Luther King Square offers furnished temporary accommodation in a central location in Hamburg. We currently offer 9 lockable single and double rooms – each room has its own private bathroom. A fully equipped shared kitchen as well as a washing machine (from €0.50) are available for communal use. The dryer is located in the building (also from €0.50). The accommodation is suitable for short- and longer-term stays and is aimed at guests looking for a functional, furnished solution in a central Hamburg location. A weekly change of bed linen and towels, room cleaning service, and regular basic cleaning of the shared areas are included. Rooms 3 and 4 have direct access to the shared balcony. Room 3 has windows and balcony access exclusively to the shared balcony – please be considerate. Room 4 has windows and a door both to the shared balcony and to the rear of the building. Rooms 5 and 6 face the rear of the building, with room 6 also facing Martin Luther King Square. Rooms 6 to 10 face Martin Luther King Square, a cul-de-sac with a turning area off Grindelallee (main road). All prices include 7% VAT. The rental agreement fulfils all legal invoice requirements (a single-page invoice available on request). Room size measurements are rounded and therefore approximate. What sets us apart: beds and washbasins handcrafted by a local Hamburg carpenter – each room is unique. The shared kitchen (shared refrigerators, oven, hob, pots, dishes, kettle, filter coffee machine, coffee pod machine, toaster, microwave, etc.) is available to all guests. Each room is assigned its own fridge compartment as well as a labelled shelf for non-refrigerated food. The photos show both double and single rooms – not every room is shown, but all rooms follow the same style.
