4 rooms apartment of 132 m² in Berlin

Idylic, quiet, surrounded by water and trees, and yet just a few minutes from the center of Berlin. This beautiful flat from the 1920s is spacious, light, and warm, with original features such as the wooden floors, French doors and double-box windows. The large teak dining table is ideal for long weekend breakfasts or candlelight dinners. A modern cast-iron fireplace with glass doors creates a warm and cosy atmosphere. During the winter months, sunlight streams through the flat in the afternoon, sparkling off both the Spree and the Rummelsburg Bay. Our apartment has two bedrooms, each with comfortable large double beds (160cm). The kitchen/dining area is large (33m²) and connects to the living room (34m²) via French doors that can open wide to make a single spacious living area. There are up to two work-stations in the living room, each with an external monitor, to enable working from home. There is a large balcony at the back that is accessed from the second bedroom and connects via private stairs down to the garden and backyard. The first bathroom has a large shower and a washing machine. The second bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub. The yard is shared by a small community of neighbours, and features off-street parking. This is normally our wonderful home, and reflects our colourful tastes. We will be away from October until the start of April visiting family, so we are looking for someone to enjoy our home while we are away. The apartment is suitable for up to four people. There is also equipment to care for an infant if needed, such as a baby-bay and changing table. The flat is well connected to the public transport. A bus stop that is being serviced every 10 min (daytime) is less than 100 m away. The bus takes 5 min to get to Ostkreuz. From Ostkreuz you can easily go in any direction and you can reach many central areas in Berlin and even catch the train directly to the airport in just 15 min.
