The tram M2 takes you to Alexanderplatz in just 4 minutes, or to Ringbahn Prenzlauer Allee in 5. There are a couple of supermarkets just round the corner, and a small deli and bakery that is open on Sundays too. The large park Volkspark Friedrichshain is just 10 minutes on foot, a great recreational space for walks, picnics or for going running.
