Hagenauer Straße is located in the popular district of Prenzlauer Berg in the old east, in the middle of Kollwitzplatz and Helmholtzplatz – famous for it's weekly market, café, restaurants shops and life. The apartment building was constructed at the beginning of the 19 century, it's a typical berlin building – front building, the side wing and the back house. It was renovated some years ago and today shows the impressive facade of the typical turn-of-the century houses in his old glory. We offer an apartment on the 3rd floor of the back house, 66 m² in good conditions. We, a couple of designers, renovated the flat in order to preserve some of the "Berliner Luft" we breathed the first time we stepped into the flat. The furniture is an eclectic mix of vintage and new: original east berlin mid century, Jugendstil, a table of upcycled floorboards... Ideal for 2 persons. The apartment its composed of a small hallway ideal for shoes and jackets, a big livingroom with the open plan kitchen (about 25mq), an office and a spacious bathroom. The windows open to the inner courtyard and the neighboring garden. The stairwell and the courtyard were renovated a few years ago and well maintained. The connection to the public transport network is excellent. U-Bahn station Eberswalder Straße (tram and subway) can be reached in 5 minutes of walk, Alexanderplatz is 5 minutes of travel and the airport it's app. 45 minutes.
