Our apartment is a recently modernized (2023) “Altbau” with very high ceilings, updated fixtures and a brand new kitchen. Ideally suited for singles and couples, the apartment is also perfect for remote work thanks to its high-speed internet connection (1000 Mbps). Excellent soundproofing between units and from the outside with triple-paned windows. Located in an incredibly well-connected part of the city, it’s easy to take the tram or subway to Mitte/Alexanderplatz, Hauptbahnhof, and Friedrichshain. The Schönhauser Allee (U2, S-Bahn) and Eberswalder Strasse (U2) stations are both less than a 10 minute walk away, making the rest of the city easily accessible. Prenzlauer Berg is one of Berlin’s most sought-after neighborhoods, known for its popular restaurants, bars, cafés and boutique shops. It is also home to the famous Mauerpark, a large public park ~10 minute walk from the apartment, loved by Berliners for its weekend flea market and open-air karaoke. There are multiple supermarkets, drugstores and pharmacies within walking distance from the apartment (and a shopping mall!), including a small Rewe supermarket a few doors down. Within the apartment, the bedroom faces the quiet inner courtyard and has a wardrobe system, custom-made bed with mattress, and a small vanity with mirror. The bathroom has a tub with rain shower, guaranteeing a luxurious experience.
