3 rooms apartment of 107m² in Berlin

Our flat is in a typical Berlin 'Altbau' residential building from about 1910. It's on the 1st floor and is over 100 sqm. We love the high ceilings and the big windows, which give the rooms a light and airy feel. The flat also has original timber floors, doors and ironmongery which give it a real period feel. The apartment has one very large living and dining room which has a balcony facing onto the street. A double door leads to the study area and bedroom which can be divided by a full height curtain. The kitchen, bathroom and second bedroom (children's room) face south towards the inner courtyard. As this the flat is normally our privately used home, you will find everything you need. During the rental period we will of course clear away some of our personal things to make space for you. The flat is located close to Bayerischer Platz, a leafy square which is visible from the living room and study. The street outside is quite buzzing during the day with lots of shops and amenities right on your doorstep. Evenings are much quieter and as the windows are modern and very high quality, you don't hear much traffic noise. The flat is in Schöneberg in the "Baverian Quarter", a mainly residential area which was built in the 1910s and boasts grand residential buildings with large apartments, broad streets and leafy squares. Famous residents included Albert Einstein, Giséle Freund and Erich Fromm. There are many excellent cafes and restaurants, both right on our doorstep and a short distance away in Akazienkiez. Our fantastic local park, Volkspark Wilmersdorf is also a short walk away plus there are many children's playgrounds within easy walking distance. Close to the flat there are also a number of supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies and other shops and amenities. We are one minute from Bayerischer Platz underground station (Berlin zone A) from where two underground lines (U4 and U7) connect you swiftly to the various central districts of Berlin. The area is also ideal for exploring by bike. It's a 10min ride to the famous KaDeWe store, then on to Kurfürstendamm, the Zoo and the Gedächtniskirche which are only a few minutes further. You can also easily reach the Tiergarten by bike, plus the government quarter and the Brandenburg Gate.
